  • Who and what do we treat?
    Common diagnoses related to speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders include but are not limited to: Stroke (Cerebrovascular Accident), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Non-Traumatic Brain Injury, Concussion, Parkinson's Disease (PD), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease, Frontotemporal Dementia, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).
  • What is the age range of clients?
    We provide therapeutic services for clients ranging from adolescents through geriatric. Group sessions are available upon request.
  • Where and when do therapy sessions take place?
    We offer both in-home and virtual tele-therapy services depending on your needs. Treatment frequency ranges between 1x-3x a week depending on clinical recommendations, along with family's and therapist's scheduling availability.
  • Are services offered in-person or virtually?
    We offer both in-home and virtual tele-therapy services as deemed clinically appropriate for each client by their treating therapist.
  • What areas do you provide services?
    CCP currently provides services within the city limits of Chicago, along with northern and northwestern Chicagoland suburbs. North and northwest suburbs include, but are not limited to: Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Des Plaines, Evanston, Fort Sheridan/Highwood, Glencoe, Glenview, Highland Park, Kenilworth, Lake Forest, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Northbrook, Northfield, Park Ridge, Prospective Heights, Rogers Park, Schaumburg, Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka We are rapidly expanding into servicing more and more locations, so please inquire if you are unsure about your location but interested in services!
  • How long are sessions?
    Diagnostic speech evaluations are 60 minutes, and ongoing treatment sessions are either 45 or 60 minutes depending on clinical recommendations. Modified 30 minute sessions via virtual-teletherapy may be offered if deemed appropriate for check-ins for counseling, education, and home-exercise programs.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    We are currently Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and Medicare Part B Providers! However, we also accept private pay and will provide you with an appropriate invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
  • How does payment work if I want to be reimbursed by my insurance company?
    You pay at the time of service. We will give you a “Superbill”, typically once a month. You submit the “Superbill” to your insurance company. Call your insurance company to figure out how to submit claims. Your insurance company reimburses you if allowed in your plan.
